My Voice (album)
''My Voice'' is the debut studio album by South Korean singer Taeyeon. It was released on February 28, 2017, by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music. There are two physical editions of the album with similar tracklist but separate covers and booklets. Musically, songs on ''My Voice'' are based on Taeyeon's vocals and incorporate various genres including pop, pop rock, and PBR&B. Prior to the release of the album, a music video for " I Got Love" was released on February 18, 2017, as a promotional tool. The title track and lead single "Fine" was released simultaneously with the album on February 28. To promote ''My Voice'', Taeyeon performed "Fine" on three music programs–''Music Bank'', ''Show! Music Core'', and ''Inkigayo'' from March 3 to 5. The album earned critical and commercial success, peaking atop South Korea's Gaon Album Chart with first-week sales of 109,275 physical copies. Taeyeon
Kim Tae-yeon (; born March 9, 1989), known mononymously as Taeyeon, is a South Korean singer. She debuted as a member of girl group Girls' Generation in August 2007, which went on to become one of the best-selling artists in South Korea and one of the most widely known K-pop groups worldwide. "Rain" is a song by South Korean singer Kim Tae-yeon, a member of the South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It was released digitally by SM Entertainment on February 3, 2016. Background and composition In January 2016, S.M. Entertainment announced that they were to launch a digital music platform called SM Station, in which SM artists would release a new song every week. ''I'' is the debut extended play by South Korean singer Taeyeon, released on October 7, 2015, by SM Entertainment. The EP was recorded at SM Studios in Seoul, South Korea, and was produced by Lee Soo-man. Background and release In mid-2015, SM Entertainment announced that Taeyeon would release her first solo album later that year. The album's title track, "I", features popular rapper Verbal Jint and includes lyrics written by Taeyeon. The album was released via digital music websites at midnight on October 7, the physical copies sold in the stores on same day.
