My Leander (born 12 September 1994) is a List of Swedish professional golfers, Swedish professional golfer. She made the cut at the 2017 Women's British Open, was runner-up at the 2019 WPGA International Challenge, and won the 2022 Rose Ladies Open in England. Amateur career Leander was successful on the junior golf circuit in Sweden, amassing 7 career titles. She was runner-up at the 2012 Annika Invitational Europe, 2 strokes behind Linnea Ström. Leander started playing college golf San Jose State Spartans women's golf team at San José State University in the fall of 2013 and graduated in 2017. She was named 2016–17 Mountain West Conference, Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Year. Her stroke average in the 2016–17 season was the best in school history, shooting 17 rounds under par and six rounds of par and winning two tournaments, the Colonel Wollenberg's Ram Classic and Meadow Club Intercollegiate, and placed second at three other tournaments. 2017 European Ladies' Team Championship
The 2017 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 11–15 July at Montado Golf Resort in Palmela, Portugal. It was the 34th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting course, located in the Lisboa Region and Setúbal District, about 25 kilometres south of Lisbon, Portugal, opened in 1992, surrounded by vineyards and with an island green on the 18th hole, was designed by Jorge Santana da Silva. The championship course was set up with par 72. Format All participating teams played two qualification rounds of stroke-play with six players, counted the five best scores for each team. The eight best teams formed flight A, in knock-out match-play over the next three days. The teams were seeded based on their positions after the stroke-play. The Evian Championship
The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019. Founded in 1994 on the Ladies European Tour (LET) as the Evian Masters, it is one of two major championships on the LET. Not originally a major on the LPGA Tour, it became an LPGA co-sanctioned event in 2000, which included a significant increase in purse size. Women's British Open
The Women's Open (originally known as the Women's British Open, and still widely referred to by that name outside the UK) is a major championship in women's professional golf. It is recognised by both the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour as a major. The reigning champion is Lydia Ko, who won at the 2024 tournament. The Women's PGA Championship (branded as the KPMG Women's PGA Championship for sponsorship reasons) is a women's professional golf tournament. First held in 1955, it is one of five majors on the LPGA Tour. It is not recognized as a major by the Ladies European Tour, which does not recognize any of the three majors played in the United States. The Chevron Championship is a professional women's golf tournament. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983. Since 2023, it has been played on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. Founded in 1972 by singer and actress Dinah Shore and Colgate-Palmolive chairman David Foster, it was played at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, from its inception through 2022. 2022 LET Access Series
The 2022 LET Access Series was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through October 2022 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. Changes for 2022 The schedule returned to pre-pandemic size after two seasons of reduced schedule. The Calatayud Ladies Open and Smørum Ladies Open were added, as were the Rose Ladies Open and the Trust Golf Links Series in the UK, while the mixed event with the Alps Tour returned from Rome to France. Brocket Hall is a Neoclassical architecture, neo-classical English country house, country house set in a large park at the western side of the urban area of Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, England. The estate is equipped with two golf courses and seven smaller listed buildings, apart from the main house. The Ladies European Tour is a professional golf tour for women which was founded in 1978. Most of the players on the tour are European, with members from more than 40 countries internationally. Despite its name, the tour also has tournaments in Africa, Asia, North America and Oceania. The organization is based at Buckinghamshire Golf Club near London in England.
