My Guardian Angels (Chinese: 单翼天使) is a Singaporean drama produced and telecast on Mediacorp Channel 8. It stars Zoe Tay, Kym Ng, Pierre Png and Hong Ling. The series has received criticism for its portrayal of LGBTQ characters. The series was the most-watched local Chinese drama series in Singapore in 2020. For her role in the drama, Tay won the Star Awards for Best Actress for the fourth time in her career, making her the first person to have won the award four times. Zoe Tay
Zoe Tay (; born 10 January 1968) is a Singaporean actress and former model. She has been referred to as the "Queen of Caldecott Hill" and "Ah Jie" (Top Actress) by the local media since the rise of her popularity in the 1990s. She is one of the first batch of actors to receive the Star Awards All-Time Favourite Artiste award, along with Li Nanxing and Chew Chor Meng. Jin Yinji
Gam Ngan Gei (born 17 June 1946), better known as Jin Yinji, is a Singaporean actress of South Korean descent. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1986 to 2017 but continued to film on an ad-hoc basis. Jin's contract with Mediacorp expired in February 2017. There are no statistics on how many LGBT people there are in Singapore or what percentage of the population they constitute. While homosexuality is legal in the country, the country is largely conservative. Bernard Tan Tiong Gie (born 1943 in Singapore) was educated at the Anglo-Chinese School, Singapore, the University of Singapore (Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physics, 1965) and Oxford University (Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Science, 1968).
