Raymond Alexander Muzyka is a Canadian investor, entrepreneur and physician. Originally trained as a medical doctor and practicing as an emergency department and family physician after graduation, he is the co-founder of video game developer BioWare, and was CEO, senior vice president, and general manager of the BioWare label of Electronic Arts. In October 2012 he announced that he was embarking on a 'third career' mentoring and angel investing in technology, new media, medical and social entrepreneurs, and impact investing at ThresholdImpact. Career Muzyka co-founded BioWare, which was incorporated in 1995, with Greg Zeschuk and Augustine Yip, in the early 1990s after they earned their medical degrees at the University of Alberta. Daniel F. Muzyka is a Canadian academic, who served as a professor and dean at the University of British Columbia. He is also the former president and CEO of the Conference Board of Canada. Muzyka has extensive experience in academics, business, and public policy and has participated on a number of boards of companies, venture capital funds, as well as not-for-profit and government organizations and committees. Alex Muzyka
Alexander Muzyka (c. 1929 – February 23, 1993) was a Canadian football player who played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He won the Grey Cup with Hamilton in 1953. He later worked for Bell Canada as a telephone repairman.
