Muzaffer Hussain
Muzaffer Hussain (20 March 1940 – 14 February 2018) was an Indian writer, journalist and columnist. He was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and later moved to Mumbai in his youth for earning livelihood. He wrote columns in various newspapers and magazines in Hindi and Urdu. For over 12 years he published under the column ''Padsaad'' in the Marathi newspaper ''Saamana'' along with few articles in Hindi version as well. He was noted to be nationalist and pro-Hindutva and wrote critical about various Islamic traditions like triple talaak. In 2002, he was presented with Padma Shri, India's 4th highest civilian honour. Bhopal
Bhopal (; ISO 15919, ISO: Bhōpāl, ) is the capital (political), capital city of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and the administrative headquarters of both Bhopal district and Bhopal division. Saamana
''Saamana'' is a Marathi-language newspaper published in Maharashtra, India. The paper was launched on 23 January 1988 by Bal Thackeray, the founder of the Shiv Sena, a local, regional and language driven; political party; in the Indian state of Maharashtra. A Hindi version of the paper, ''Dopahar Ka Saamana'' popularly known as Hindi Saamana, was launched on 23 February 1993. History ''Firstpost'' attributes the founding of ''Saamana'' to Thackeray's dissatisfaction about the amount of press he and his party received in other news outlets. It has been described it as a mouthpiece of the Shiv Sena, providing a link to Thackeray that did not exist previously. ''Firstpost'' also reports that while other newspapers allowed bias to creep into their news coverage, ''Saamana'' provided relatively unbiased news coverage of government policy and civic matters. Hindutva (; ) is a Far-right politics, far-right political ideology encompassing the cultural justification of Hindu nationalism and the belief in establishing Hindu hegemony within India.
