''Mutthanna'' is a 1994 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by M. S. Rajashekar and produced by L. Somanna Gowda. The movie stars Supriya, Shashi Kumar, and Shiva Rajkumar, playing two characters, in the leading roles. The film is a remake of Manmohan Desai's Hindi film '' Sachaa Jhutha'' (1970). Shiva Rajkumar's eldest daughter made her only on-screen appearance in the movie, credited as ''Baby Nirupama Shiva Rajkumar''. The film was re-released in digital format with 2K resolution & 7.1 surround sound in October 2017. Sachaa Jhutha
''Sachaa Jhutha'' ( English: "Honest and Liar") is a 1970 Indian Hindi action comedy film directed by Manmohan Desai and produced by Vinod Doshi. The film written by Desai's wife Jeevanprabha, was edited by Kamlakar Kamkhanis. The film starring Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, Vinod Khanna revolves around a simple villager (Bhola), who has a lookalike, a crook (Ranjeet Kumar), who takes advantage of the former's simplicity and mirror-image (both the roles of Bhola and Ranjeet Kumar were played by Rajesh Khanna). The music of the film was composed by Kalyanji-Anandji. The film was the second highest grosser of the year and was declared a super hit. The performance of Rajesh Khanna was critically acclaimed and he won the Filmfare Best Actor Award for 1971. Shashi Kumar (born 2 December 1965) is an actor and politician from Karnataka. He works predominantly in Kannada films. Acting career Shashi Kumar's first released film was ''Chiranjeevi Sudhakara'' starring Raghavendra Rajkumar. In 1989 he became popular with ''Yuddha Kaanda'' starring V.
