Musthafa (film)
''Musthaffaa'' is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language crime drama film directed by R. Aravindraj and written by K. Prasanna. It is based on Prasanna's novel of the same name. The film stars Napoleon and Ranjitha, with Goundamani, Mansoor Ali Khan, Prasanna, Lakshmi, Kazan Khan, Alex, Sooriya, Rajeshkumar, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Ganeshkar and Charmila playing supporting roles. It was released on 16 February 1996. The film was later remade into Hindi as '' Ghulam-E-Musthafa'' (1997) in Bangladeshi Bengali as '' Abbajan'' (2001) and in Indian Bengali as '' Rehmat Ali'' (2010). Plot Musthaffaa is the trusted henchman of the godfather Periyavar. When politicians need help, they notify Periyavar, and Musthaffaa, in turn, solves the problem with his sidekick Chellappa. Napoleon (actor)
Kumaresan Duraisamy (born 2 December 1963), known professionally by his stage name Napoleon, is an American Indian actor, entrepreneur and former Indian politician. He was the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (India), Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment in Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's cabinet. He has acted predominately in Tamil language, Tamil films apart from some Telugu language, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and English movies. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film '' Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. During the course of his 40-year film career, he has written over 7,500 songs and poems which have won him seven National Awards, the most for any Indian lyricist. ''Ananda Vikatan'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. History ''Ananda Vikatan'' was started by Late Pudhoor Vaidyanadhaiyar in February 1926 as a monthly publication. The issue for December 1927 was not published due to financial difficulties.
