Mustafa Ãœlgen
Mustafa Ülgen (born 1945 in İnegöl, Bursa Province) is a Turkish orthodontist. Biography Ülgen completed primary and middle school in İnegöl. After his graduation from Bursa Boys High School, he graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1967. After two years of military service as a reserve officer, with a scholarship awarded from the Ministry of Education of Turkey, he studied orthodontics at the University of Zurich, Switzerland under Rudolf Hotz and Paul Walter Stöckli, where he got his PhD degree. After his five years education in Zurich followed by ten years of obligatory service, he worked for eight years at Ankara University and for two years in the University of Tigris (Dicle) Diyarbakır. Ülgen became associate professor in 1979 and full professor in 1985. He was a dean for two years in the University of Tigris (Dicle) Diyarbakır. İnegöl
İnegöl (known as , ''Angelokomis'' in the Byzantine period) is a city (center of the İnegöl district) in the Bursa Province of Turkey. It has a population of 340,000 (2011 figures). İnegöl is one of the centers of the Turkish furniture industry, and is also known for its meatball ( İnegöl köftesi) which has its origins in ćevapi brought to the region by Bosnian immigrants (Bosniaks) during the Balkan Wars. Although considerably quieter than neighbouring Bursa and Eskişehir, İnegöl retains sufficient attractions to make it interesting to tourists on a one- or two-day stopover, as well as possessing sufficiently unspoilt nearby natural attractions to keep one occupied for longer stays. Bursa Province
Bursa Province ( tr, ) is a province in Turkey along the Sea of Marmara coast in northwestern Anatolia. It borders Balıkesir to the west, Kütahya to the south, Bilecik and Sakarya to the east, Kocaeli to the northeast and Yalova to the north. The province has an area of 11,043 km2 and a population of 3,139,744 as of 2021. Its traffic code is 16. Orthodontics is a dentistry specialty that addresses the diagnosis, prevention, management, and correction of mal-positioned teeth and jaws, and misaligned bite patterns. It may also address the modification of facial growth, known as dentofacial orthopedics. Abnormal alignment of the teeth and jaws is very common.
