Mustafa Pektemek
Mustafa Pektemek (born 11 August 1988) is a Turkish footballer who plays as a forward for TFF First League club Pendikspor. Career Early career Pektemek started his professional career with Sakaryaspor in 2006. He went on loan to Sarıyer for the second half of the 2006–07 season. On 27 May 2011, he joined Gençlerbirliği for a fee of €4 million. After breaking his leg at the start of the 2010–11 Süper Lig season, he scored on his first appearance back for Gençlerbirliği six months later, scoring in a 1–0 win against İstanbul Başakşehir. Beşiktaş On 27 May 2011, Beşiktaş announced that Pektemek has been transferred from Gençlerbirliği for €4 million. During the first derby match on the second week of the 2012–13 season against rivals Galatasaray he suffered a knee injury, leaving the match immediately. The 2009–10 Süper Lig (known as the ''Turkcell Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 52nd season since its establishment. The season commenced on 7 August 2009 with İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor (football team), Istanbul B.B. hosting defending champions Beşiktaş J.K., Beşiktaş at Atatürk Olympic Stadium. The 2008–09 Süper Lig (also known as ''Turkcell Super League'' due to sponsoring reasons) was the fifty-first season since its establishment. It began on 22 August 2008 and ended on 31 May 2009. Galatasaray were the defending champions. Beşiktaş clinched the championship after winning at Denizlispor on the last matchday. The latter barely avoided relegation after finishing in a three-way tie on points with Gençlerbirliği and Konyaspor. Head-to-head comparison between those three teams eventually resulted in the demotion of Konyaspor, who joined Kocaelispor and Hacettepe on their way to the second-level First League. The 2006–07 Süper Lig was the 49th edition of the top-flight professional football league in Turkey. The season began on 4 August 2006 with a match between Ankaraspor and Galatasaray, resulting in a 1–1 draw. Fenerbahçe became champions after drawing Trabzonspor 2–2, while Beşiktaş lost 3–0 to Bursaspor and Galatasaray drew 1–1 with Sivasspor. Kayseri Erciyesspor gained qualification to the UEFA Cup because of Beşiktaş' qualification to the UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying Round. The 2012–13 Süper Lig (known as the ''Spor Toto Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 55th season of the Süper Lig, the highest football league of Turkey. Galatasaray are the defending champions. The season began on 17 August 2012 and ended on 19 May 2013. On 5 May, Galatasaray won a record 19th Turkish title after beating Sivasspor 4–2. Teams Samsunspor, Manisaspor and Ankaragücü were relegated at the end of the 2011–12 season after finishing in the bottom three places of the standings.
