Mustafa Elkatipzade
Mustafa Elkatipzade (1889 – 4 March 1967) was a Turkish football manager. He managed Fenerbahçe between 1921 and 1924 He won the 1922–23 Istanbul League Championship. He was also the manager of the General Harington Cup squad. Turkish People
Turks (), or Turkish people, are the largest Turkic peoples, Turkic ethnic group, comprising the majority of the population of Turkey and Northern Cyprus. General Harington Cup
The General Harington Cup was a single friendly football match between the Turkish multi-sport club Fenerbahçe SK and a team put together by General Charles Harington composed of soldiers and professional players. It took place at the conclusion of the British invasion of Turkey, with the local team beating the British team 2–1. History At the end of World War I, the Ottoman Empire's lands had been invaded by Italian, French, Greek and British troops. On 13 November 1918, British troops entered Istanbul and the invasion was official. During the course of invasion, British troops arranged football matches with local teams. Fenerbahçe participated in many such games, winning 41, losing 5, and reaching a tie in 4 games. Zeki Rıza Sporel
Zeki Rıza Sporel (28 February 1898 – 3 November 1969) was a Turkish football player and a politician. He plied his trade at the striker position for Fenerbahçe and the Turkey national football team. His career started in the Fenerbahçe youth teams until he was promoted to the senior team. Zeki spent his entire career with the club, setting numerous records. He was also a forerunner for Turkey, becoming the first player to score for the team. He is often cited as one of the best strikers in Turkish football history. He was also active in politics as he became a member of the Democrat Party in 1946. Hasan Kamil Sporel (1894 – 27 April 1969) was a Turkish people, Turkish football (soccer), footballer. He played as a Defender (football), defender for Fenerbahçe S.K. (football), Fenerbahçe and the Turkey national football team. Starting in 1911, Hasan Kamil played his entire career for Fenerbahçe. He was the first player to score in a derby against Galatasaray S.K. Hikmet Topuzer, commonly known as Topuz Hikmet, (1893 - 13 May 1958) was a Turkish football player for Fenerbahçe between 1912 and 1915. The Fenerbahçe emblem, which he created in 1914, is used today. He played as a right winger or right forward. He was the uncle of artist Fikret Muallâ Saygı.
