Mustafa Azadzoy
Mustafa Azadzoy (Persian: مصطفي آزادزوي; born 24 July 1992) is an Afghan professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a winger for German club WSC Frisia and the Afghanistan national team. Early life Azadzoy was born in Afghanistan to a Tajik mother and a Pashtun father. He has five older brothers and sisters. When he was just six months old, his family moved to Germany, although his uncle and aunt remain in Afghanistan. Soon clubs started noticing his talent, after spending time with Delmenhorster BV he was recruited by VfB Oldenburg who put Azadoy in their youth system. Club career After spending his youth career in VfB Oldenburg he signed for TB Uphusen in 2013. International career In 2011, Azadzoy made his debut for Afghanistan national team in the 2011 SAFF Championship. AFC Challenge Cup
The AFC Challenge Cup was an international football competition for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) member countries that were categorised as "emerging countries" in the "Vision Asia" programme. It was created by former AFC president Mohammed Bin Hammam as the AFC's plan for a continent-wide programme to raise the standards of Asian football. The AFC Challenge Cup was created for teams to experience playing in a continental competition, with the possibility to win an AFC trophy and potentially discover new talents. The 2014 AFC Challenge Cup was the fifth and the final edition of the AFC Challenge Cup, an international Association football, football competition for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) member nations that are mainly categorized as "emerging countries" in the now defunct Vision Asia programme. It took place in the Maldives from 19 to 30 May 2014. The champions, Palestine national football team, Palestine, qualified to the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. Mansur Faqiryar (born 3 January 1986) is an Afghan former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played for clubs in Germany and represented the Afghanistan national team at international level. Club career In 2005, Faqiryar signed for amateur club FC Union 60 Bremen. He played there for one season before moving to FC Oberneuland in 2006. Whilst at the club he managed 44 appearances in the league as well as two appearances in the DFB-Pokal. In 2009, he signed with Niedersachsenliga club VfB Oldenburg. Mohammad Yousef Kargar
Mohammad Yosuf Kargar () is an Afghan former football player and manager who is president of the Afghanistan Football Federation. He formerly coached the Afghanistan national team. Career Kargar's family set up Afghanistan's first ski resort, and he became the national champion in 1978 at the age of 16. He stopped skiing due to the 1979 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. During the 1970s and 1980s, he was a member of the Afghanistan national team. He coached Afghan youth teams after becoming the senior manager of the Afghanistan national team in 2001. His biggest achievement is leading the national football team to the SAFF Cup trophy in 2013. Attack in January 2015 Kargar was stabbed near his residence in Kabul on 10 January 2015.
