Dialypetalantheae
Dialypetalantheae, synonym Condamineeae, is a tribe of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae and contains about 305 species in 31 genera. Most genera are found in Central and Southern Tropical America, but a few occur in Southeast Asia. Taxonomy The tribe was first described, as Condamineeae, by George Bentham and Joseph Dalton Hooker in 1873. A change in the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants in 2011 extended the conservation of family names to subtaxa that include the type of the conserved family name. As Dialypetalanthaceae is a conserved name, based on the genus '' Dialypetalanthus'', any tribe that includes this genus must be called Dialypetalantheae. The name was published by James L. Malesia is a biogeographical region straddling the Equator and the boundaries of the Indomalayan and Australasian realms. It is a phytogeographical floristic region in the Paleotropical kingdom. Cornelis Eliza Bertus Bremekamp (7 February 1888 in Dordrecht – 21 December 1984) was a Dutch botanist. He received his education at the University of Utrecht, and performed as a botanical researcher in Indonesia and South Africa. In South Africa he collaborated with German botanist Herold Georg Wilhelm Johannes Schweickerdt (1903–1977). From 1924 to 1931 he was a professor at Transvaal University in Pretoria, where he conducted studies of the genus '' Pavetta''. Herbert Kenneth Airy Shaw
Herbert Kenneth Airy Shaw (7 April 1902 – 19 August 1985) was a notable English botanist and classicist. He worked at Kew Gardens, as was an expert on tropical Asian botany and on entomology. The genus '' Airyantha'' is named for him. Life Airy Shaw was born at The Mount, Grange Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk to a father serving as Second Master at the Woodbridge Grammar School and a mother descended from George Biddell Airy, Astronomer Royal (1835–1881). His younger sister was the illustrator Margaret Olive Milne-Redhead (also known as Olive Shaw).
