Muskogee High School (MHS) is a three-year Public school (government funded), public High school (North America), high school in Muskogee, Oklahoma, U.S.. It is accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association. Muskogee High School is part of the Muskogee Independent School District No. 20 of Muskogee County, Oklahoma, more commonly known as Muskogee Public Schools. School history In August 2018 the school administration announced that any student who, within a four-week period, is late to classes four times would receive a fine of $250. At the same time, the administration stated that safety concerns caused it to ban students from wandering around the campus during lunch times, increase class times, and reduce the times of lunch periods. Chess Club
A chess club is a club formed for the purpose of playing the board game of chess. Chess clubs often provide for both informal and tournament games and sometimes offer league play. Traditionally clubs play over the board and face to face chess as opposed to playing on internet chess servers or computer chess. Bo Bolinger
Virgilee Clinton "Bo" Bolinger (December 26, 1932 – August 5, 2011) was an American football guard who played one season with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted by the Chicago Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) in the thirteenth round of the 1956 NFL draft. Bolinger played college football at the University of Oklahoma and attended Central High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was a consensus All-American in 1955. Bolinger also served as a football coach and scout for various organizations. Early life Bolinger played football at Central High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Broken Arrow Senior High School
Broken Arrow High School is the highest level of secondary education in the Broken Arrow Public Schools system, for students in tenth through twelfth grade. Combined with the Broken Arrow Freshman Academy, it is the largest high school in the state of Oklahoma. Its current principal is Crystal Barber. History The first high-school level education in Broken Arrow happened in fall 1910 with the formation of Broken Arrow Public Schools. A new building was built in 1952, and the current campus opened in its original format in 1982. A new football stadium was opened in 2000, replacing one used since 1930. Archie Newell Bradley (born August 10, 1992) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Between 2015 and 2023, he played nine seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Angels, and Miami Marlins. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an international nonprofit Christian sports ministry based in Kansas City, Missouri, Kansas City. Teens for Christ (TFC) is a non-profit organization whose aim is that of "turning teenagers into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ". To reach young people, Teens for Christ hosts weekly meetings during the school year in various locations throughout local communities. History of TFC Youth For Christ was formed in the 1940s in Allen County, Ohio. During the 1980s, the local ''Youth For Christ'' became ''Teens For Christ'' and started to hold chapter meetings in various homes throughout the area. Students Working Against Tobacco
Students Working Against Tobacco or SWAT is the shared name of independent groups across the United States who work to educate and unite students against the alleged manipulation and targeting of youth by tobacco companies. Each division of SWAT is managed independently from state-to-state. The first SWAT group was established in Florida schools in 1998. In order to execute this program from a grassroots level, the State of Florida chose 10 youth to lead the statewide initiative, Cleveland Robinson was one of these youth. In 1997, the state of Florida settled a lawsuit against tobacco companies for 11.3 billion dollars (later increased to over 13 billion dollars through a friendly language clause) to be paid out over the next 25 years.
