''Mushroom'' is the second studio album by Eat Me Raw, Eatmewhileimhot. It was released digitally on March 2, 2012. This is the first album that Caleb Denison is not featured on. The album received mostly negative reviews. Music videos were released for each of the four singles. The album is influenced mainly by several genres of metal rather than the punk genres that the band's earlier material is composed of. Eat Me Raw
Eat Me Raw (formerly Eatmewhileimhot!) was an American experimental band, formed in Joplin, Missouri in 2008. The band released two albums and two extended plays. Members of the band were better known for performing as the indie rock band Never Shout Never. History In 2008, members of the indie rock band Never Shout Never formed a post-hardcore side project called EatMeWhileImHot!. The project originally started as a joke, but soon developed into a serious band. Songs like CoughKidCough, IBeatGirlsAtSports, and IHitASquirrelItChangedMyLife were released on MySpace. As the songs were released the band got more and more popular, and the members began to take it seriously. During this time, the band also changed their name to Mister Owl. Metalcore
Metalcore is a broadly defined fusion genre combining elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk, originating in the 1990s United States and becoming popular in the 2000s. Metalcore typically has aggressive verses and melodic choruses, combined with Breakdown (music), breakdowns – which are slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining traits are low-tuned, percussive guitar riffs, double bass drumming, and polished production. ''xALBUMx'' is the debut studio album by Eatmewhileimhot. It was released digitally on July 27, 2010. 300 physical editions were released through a preorder. This is the first and last album that Caleb Denison is featured on. Despite receiving mostly negative reviews, the album reached No. 46 on the Billboard'' Heatseeker Albums chart. Singles Two of the singles had different names when released. The songs were later renamed to go with the album's theme.
