Musheerabad is a commercial center in Hyderabad, India, Hyderabad, India. Musheerabad comes under central zone and ninth circle of Hyderabad, and falls under the Secunderabad revenue division. History The historic old portion of Musheerabad Masjid was constructed during the Qutb Shahi dynasty, Qutb Shahi era. Later the mosque and surrounding area were given as a ''jagir'' to Arastu Jah, Nawab Aratu Jah, Mushir-ul-Mulk (then Prime Minister of Hyderabad) and named in his honour. The area housed the Musheerabad Jail until 2003 after which it was demolished and a new hospital and the new premises of Gandhi Medical College were constructed in the same area. Most of the recent development of Musheerabad has occurred following the construction of the Gandhi Medical College and the adjoining Gandhi Hospital, one of the largest public hospitals in Telangana. Musheerabad Masjid
The Musheerabad MasjidOr MASJID E KALAN, (also known as Musheerabad Badi Masjid, or Jama Masjid Musheerabad) is a mosque located in the Musheerabad locality of Hyderabad, India. The original portion was constructed in 1560 AD by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah Wali, Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah, the fourth Sultan of the Qutb Shahi dynasty and is identical to the Hayat Bakshi Mosque located in Hayathnagar area of Hyderabad. History After the fall of Golconda, the mosque went into disuse and remained abandoned till the area became a ''jagir'' of Arastu Jah, Nawab Arastu Jah, the Prime Minister of Hyderabad, Prime Minister during the reign of Nizam Ali Khan, Asaf Jah II, Nizam Ali Khan. Musheerabad Jail was a correctional facility located in Musheerabad area of Hyderabad, India. The facility was demolished in 2003 and a Gandhi hospital and a Gandhi medical college were constructed in the same area. The Telangana Legislative Assembly or Telangana Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Telangana Legislature. The Legislative Assembly of Telangana currently consists of 119 elected members and 1 nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community. Its chief engineer was Nawab Sarwar Jung. Gandhi Medical College
Gandhi Medical College (founded 14 September 1954) is a medical college in Hyderabad, India affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. The college was originally affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences. History Gandhi Medical College, originally named People's Medical College, was founded on 14 September 1954. It was located at Humayun nagar close to the present-day Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital. It was opened because the original medical college in the area, Osmania Medical College, was unable to keep up with the demands for physicians in the State. Dr. Syed Nizamuddin Ahmed was the first principal and the founder of the college. Officially it was inaugurated on 25 June 1955 by the first president of India, Rajendra Prasad. The Hyderabad Metro is a rapid transit system, serving the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Arastu Jah
Mu'inud-Daulah, Mushirul-Mulk, Azamul-Umara, Arastu Jah, a man of Persian descent, was the ''Diwan'' or the Prime Minister of Hyderabad during the reign of Nizam Ali Khan (Asaf Jah II) from 1778 until his death in 1804. Nawab Azim Ul Umra Arastu Jah was the only person outside of the Nizam's family on whom the title Jah was conferred. He never failed in his respect to the Nizam or presumed to act without first consulting his pleasure. Indeed, he sought to obtain his sanction for his every act in public life.
