Musheer Khan
Musheer Khan (born 27 February 2005) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Mumbai. He made his first-class cricket debut on 27 December 2022 for Mumbai in the 2022–23 Ranji Trophy. As a right-handed batsman all-rounder, Khan represented the 2024 Under-19 Cricket World Cup as a member of the Indian U-19 cricket team. In December 2023, he was selected for the 2024 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup squad for the Indian U-19 youth team. Indian team finished runner's up in the tournament in which Khan scored two centuries. In March 2024, Musheer broke Sachin Tendulkar's record to become the youngest Mumbai batter to score a hundred in the Ranji Trophy final. In September 2024, he debut in Duleep Trophy for India B against India A at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In his debut match Musheer Khan hits his third First-Class century. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is of three or more days scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. Azad Maidan (formerly known as ''Bombay Gymkhana Maidan'') is a triangular-shaped maidan (sports ground) in the city of Mumbai, India. The Duleep Trophy, is a domestic First Class Cricket competition played in India. Named after former cricketer Duleepsinhji, the competition has largely been contested by teams representing various geographical zones of India since the first edition in 1961–62, with some editions featuring special invitee teams. There have been a few exceptions to the zonal format, such as the 2002–03 tournament, where five teams were formed based on Ranji Trophy groups, and the four editions held between 2016–17 and 2019–20, when the BCCI selected three teams called India Blue, Red and Green. The Indian men’s national under-19 cricket team represents India in cricket at Under-19 level. All-rounder
An all-rounder is a cricketer who regularly performs well at both batting and bowling. Although all bowlers must bat and quite a handful of batsmen do bowl occasionally, most players are skilled in only one of the two disciplines and are considered specialists.
