Murray Goodwin
Murray William Goodwin (born 11 December 1972) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer who played 19 Tests and 71 One Day Internationals. He was a right-handed top-order batsman, strong on the back foot, and a good cutter and puller of the ball. International career Born in Rhodesia, Goodwin attended St. John's College (Harare) before his family moved to Perth when he was 13. He moved back to Zimbabwe in the 1990s, and represented the country between 1998 and 2000. His wife had trouble settling in Zimbabwe, and so, after the Zimbabwe tour of England in 2000, they moved back to Australia. He now resides in southwest Western Australia with his family. Goodwin and Grant Flower set the record for the highest 5th wicket partnership for Zimbabwe in ODI cricket (186*). Queens Sports Club
Queens Sports Club Ground is a stadium in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. It is used primarily used for cricket matches. The stadium has a capacity of up to 13,000. The stadium is the home ground for the Matabeleland Tuskers, who are the current Logan Cup champions. The other cricket ground in Bulawayo is the Bulawayo Athletic Club.Heatley, pp. 190. The County Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Rothesay County Championship, is the only domestic first-class cricket competition in England and Wales. Established in 1890, it is organised by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as a League system, two-league system. Charlie Shreck
Charles Edward Shreck (born 6 January 1978) is an English former professional cricketer who has also played first-class cricket in New Zealand. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. In the 2008 English cricket season, Shreck bowled more overs than any other bowler in England and was among the leading wicket takers. For two years running he was voted Notts player of the season. In 2011 he signed with Kent. He retired from first class cricket in 2017. Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Nottinghamshire. The club's limited overs team is called the Notts Outlaws. The county club was founded in 1841, although teams had played first-class cricket under the Nottinghamshire name since 1835. The NatWest Pro40 League was a one-day cricket league for first-class cricket counties in England and Wales. It was inaugurated in 1999, but was essentially the old Sunday League retitled to reflect large numbers of matches being played on days other than Sunday. Sunday League The Sunday League was launched in 1969, as the second one-day competition in England and Wales alongside the Gillette Cup (launched in 1963). Sponsored by John Player & Sons, the league was called John Player's County League (1969), the John Player League (1970–83), then the John Player Special League (1984–86).
