Muppet Christmas Carol
''The Muppet Christmas Carol'' is a 1992 American Christmas musical film produced and directed by Brian Henson (in his feature directorial debut). It is the fourth theatrical film featuring the Muppets. Adapted from the 1843 novella ''A Christmas Carol'' by Charles Dickens with a screenplay written by Jerry Juhl, the film takes artistic license to suit the aesthetic of the Muppets, but follows Dickens' original story closely. It is the first Muppet film where a human is the main protagonist. The film stars Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge alongside Muppet performers Dave Goelz, Steve Whitmire, Jerry Nelson, and Frank Oz. Drew Struzan (; born March 18, 1947) is an American retired artist, illustrator and cover designer. He is known for his more than 150 movie posters, which include ''The Shawshank Redemption'', ''Blade Runner'', ''E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial'', as well as films in the ''Indiana Jones'', ''Back to the Future (franchise), Back to the Future'', ''Harry Potter (film series), Harry Potter'', and ''Star Wars'' film series. Rizzo The Rat
Rizzo the Rat is a Muppet character from the sketch comedy television series ''The Muppet Show'', created and originally performed by Steve Whitmire until 2016. Richard Hunt (August 17, 1951 – January 7, 1992) was an American puppeteer, best known as a Muppet performer on ''Sesame Street'', ''The Muppet Show'', ''Fraggle Rock'', and other projects for The Jim Henson Company.
