Munira Mosli
Munira Ahmed Muhammad Mosli ( ar, منيرة موصلي) (July 1954 – January 2019) was a Saudi Arabian plastic works artist and painter. She worked with the materials copper, natural dyes, palm tree fibre, plants, paper, papyrus, oysters and employed the collage technique. Mosli worked on events inspired by Arab world events, human archaeology, music, nature, poetry and the whole universe. She exhibited her works in the Arab world and worked for the Arab Gulf Programme for the United Nations Development Programme in 1994. An art gallery in Saudi Arabia was directed to be renamed after Mosli following the death of the artist. Biography In July 1954, Mosli was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Mecca (; officially Makkah al-Mukarramah, commonly shortened to Makkah ()) is a city and administrative center of the Mecca Province of Saudi Arabia, and the holiest city in Islam. ''Al-Wasat'' (), also ''Alwasat'', was an Arabic-language daily newspaper in Manama, Bahrain. ''Al-Wasat'' was generally regarded as the only independent newspaper in Bahrain. The Ministry of Culture (MoC; ) is a governmental organization in Saudi Arabia was established in June 2018 and responsible for various aspects of Saudi culture. Minister of Culture is Prince Badr bin Farhan Al-Saud who was appointed as its new and first minister. Ahmed Al Bahrani
Ahmed Albahrani, ( ar, أحمد البحراني) (born 1967) is an Iraqi sculptor. He is one of the most famous Iraqi sculptors, now living in exile. Life Ahmed Albahrani was born in 1965, in Tuarej on the Euphrates River, near Babylon. He recalls that as a child, he would withdraw from the games played by other boys, to model clay on the riverbank. He also recalls that on school trips, he was taken to see some of Iraq's ancient monuments and that his reaction to them was different to other boys.
