2015 Albanian Local Elections
Local elections were held in Albania on 21 June 2015. Voters elected mayors, municipal council members, municipal unit mayors and municipal unit members. The Central Election Commission of Albania was responsible for administrating the elections. This provided that the community type of komuna was abolished and at the same time the total number of communities were reduced from 373 to 61 Bashkia. Roshnik
Roshnik is a commune in Berat County, central Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Berat. The population at the 2011 census was 2,513. The Köprülü family of Ottoman viziers came from this municipality. Geography Roshnik is located in northern Berat County and is part of Berat municipality. It borders the commune of Vërtop to the south, Zhepë to the east, Berat and Otllak to the west, and Lumas to the north. Roshnik is approximately 9km (5.5mi) from the main city of Berat.
