Muni (film)
''Muni'' () is a 2007 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language comedy horror film directed by Raghava Lawrence and produced by Saran (director), Gemini Productions. The film stars Rajkiran, Lawrence and Vedhika. Nassar (actor), Nassar, Vinu Chakravarthy, Delhi Ganesh, Kadhal Dhandapani and Kovai Sarala play supporting roles. It follows Ganesh, a man with Fear of ghosts, phasmophobia, who gets possessed by the title character, who seeks revenge against an Member of the Legislative Assembly (India), MLA who killed him. ''Muni'' was released on 9 March 2007 and became a box office success. Raghava Lawrence
Raghava Lawrence (born Lawrence Murugaiyan) is an Indian actor, choreographer, film director, composer, playback singer, lyricist, film producer and philanthropist known for his works primarily in Tamil cinema. After making his debut as a dance choreographer in 1993, he began looking for acting opportunities. He began his career as an actor in 1998, in a Telugu cinema, Telugu film. He adopted the name "Raghava" in 2001, and worked for many prominent actors and directors in Tamil cinema throughout his career. He got his breakthrough with Telugu film ''Style (2006 film), Style'' and then ''Muni (film), Muni''. ''Kanchana'' (also known as ''Muni 2: Kanchana'') is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language comedy horror film written, produced and directed by Raghava Lawrence. It is a sequel to his previous venture, ''Muni'' (2007) and the second instalment in the ''Muni'' film series. The film stars Lawrence alongside R. Sarathkumar in the title role alongside Lakshmi Rai and Kovai Sarala while Devadarshini and Sriman play supporting roles. The film revolves around Raghava, who is scared to venture outside but gets possessed by a ghost and starts behaving weirdly. The film's cinematography and editing were handled by Vetri and Kishore Te, respectively. The film's soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman. The film's distribution rights were bought by Sri Thenandal Films. Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs. Early life Ranjith was born in Chennai, India into a Malayali family, hailing from Kalluvazhi, Kerala. He grew up listening to various kinds of music. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer.
