Mundialito De Clubes
The Mundialito de Clubes () is an international club beach soccer competition contested between top men's clubs from around the world. The tournament is loosely similar to the FIFA Club World Cup in association football, however participating teams are not regional champions, instead entering via invitation. Organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), the competition was founded by BSWW with Brazilian sports agency Koch Tavares in 2011. The first five editions hosted in Brazil whilst the sixth saw the event hosted in Europe; the tournament should not be confused with BSWW's existing Mundialito, which takes place in Portugal for national teams. Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow is the most successful team with three titles. 2012 Mundialito De Clubes
The second Mundialito de Clubes (or Club World Cup) was a beach soccer tournament that took place at the Praia do Sol stadium at the Arena Guarapiranga sport complex, located near Represa de Guarapiranga, a reservoir located in São Paulo, Brazil from 12 – 19 May 2012. The stadium has a seating capacity of 3,500 spectators. Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) is the organisation responsible for the founding and growth of the association football-based sport of beach soccer. The founding partners of BSWW codified the rules of beach soccer in 1992, with BSWW as it is known today having been officially founded in late 2000 as a singular institution to develop the sport and organise international beach soccer competitions across the globe, primarily between national teams. The company is recognised as playing the biggest role in helping to establish the rules of beach soccer and to spread and evolve the sport around the world, as cited by FIFA, who took on governing body status of the sport from BSWW in 2005. Extra Time
Overtime (OT) or extra time (ET) is an additional period of play to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. The 2019 Mundialito de Clubes was the sixth edition of the ''Mundialito de Clubes'' (Club World Cup in English), a biennial international club beach soccer competition contested between top men's clubs from across the world. Organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), the competition took place outside of Brazil for the first time – this edition was hosted in Moscow, Russia between February 27 and March 3, featuring eight clubs. The competition was originally due to take place in São Sebastião, Brazil from 13 to 16 December 2018. However, in November, due to difficulties coordinating with local authorities, BSWW postponed the event until February 2019 and ultimately moved its location to Europe. Lokomotiv Moscow of Russia were the defending champions but were knocked out in the group stage, ultimately finishing seventh. The tournament was won, for the first time, by Braga of Portugal. The 2017 Mundialito de Clubes was the fifth edition of the ''Mundialito de Clubes'' (Club World Cup in English), a biennial international club beach soccer competition contested between top men's clubs from across the world (existing clubs and teams specially assembled for the event). The tournament is loosely similar to the FIFA Club World Cup in association football. However, participating teams are not regional champions, entering via invitation. Organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) and other local entities in Brazil, the competition took place in Vargem Grande Paulista, São Paulo State, Brazil between December 14 and 17, featuring eight clubs.
