Väike Strait ( et, Väike väin) is a strait in Estonia, between the islands Muhu and Saaremaa. The strait is part of Väinameri and is characterized by lots of islets and shoals. Kuivastu is a village on the eastern coast of the Estonian island Muhu. (retrieved 28 July 2021) Kuivastu Harbour is the primary gateway to the biggest Estonian island Saaremaa (Muhu and Saaremaa are distinct islands, but are connected by a causeway Väinatamm). Koguva is a village on the Estonian island of Muhu. (retrieved 28 July 2021) Administratively it belongs to the Muhu Parish, Saare County. Koguva is located on the western top of the island, small Kõinastu islet is located just northwest in the Väinameri Sea. In 2000 Koguva had a population of 30. Koguva was first mentioned in 1532 by Wolter von Plettenberg in document to grant freedom for peasant called Hansken and his son and their descendants. Hansken descendants became called by the surname Schmuul later. Koguva is a small, rural village. There are many buildings that are centuries old, dating back to feudal times under Swedish rule, and are still in use today. Kesselaid (also Kessulaid, or diminutively Kessu. german: Schildau; sv, Sköld, Skölldo) is a Estonian islet located between the mainland and the island of Muhu in the Suur Strait (''Big Strait'') which connects the Väinameri strait and the Gulf of Riga.
