Muhsin Al-Mandalawi
Mohsen Ali Akbar Namdar Nazar Al-Mandalawi (born 26 July 1968) is a businessman, billionaire, politician and a deputy in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, in the October 10, 2021, election session, and his votes numbered 5,385 votes in the fifth district of Baghdad Governorate, and was chosen as the first deputy speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives on September 29, 2022. He is ethnically Feyli Kurdish and was elected as the Emir of the Feyli National council in Iraq by the tribal sheikhs, he is currently representing the Feylis political interests in Iraq. Mohamed Al-Halbousi
Mohammed Rikan Hadid al-Halbousi (; born 4 January 1981) is an Iraqi politician who served as Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq from 15 September 2018 to 14 November 2023. Al Halbousi submitted his resignation from this role on 26 September 2022 due to the political tension at the time. This resignation was however rejected by the parliament on 28 September 2022 and he continued to serve in this position until 14 November 2023, when the Federal Supreme Court of Iraq ordered Halbousi's dismissal from parliament along with fellow legislator Laith al-Dulaimi, who had sued Halbousi claiming that he had forged Dulaimi's signature on a resignation letter. Feyli (tribe)
Feylis (), also known as Feyli Kurds, is a Kurdish tribe based in the borderlands between Iraq and Iran. They speak Feyli (also known as "Ilami" or "Southern Kurdish Feyli") which is classified as a sub-dialect of Southern Kurdish, but is commonly mistaken as being identical with the neighboring but distinct Feyli dialect of Northern Luri. Linguist Ismaïl Kamandâr Fattah argues that the Kurdish Feyli dialect and other Southern Kurdish sub-dialects are 'interrelated and largely mutually intelligible.' Feylis are recognized as ethnic Kurds in the Iraqi constitution.
