Muhammad Waseem (born 29 December 1989) is a Pakistani professional boxer who challenged twice for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) flyweight title in 2018 and in 2022. Known for his quick and swift style of boxing, Waseem is nicknamed "Falcon". Early life Muhammad Waseem was born in Quetta city of Balochistan, Pakistan. He belongs to the Alizai tribe of Pashtuns with his roots in Mastung. He can speak his native Pashto, Urdu, Balochi and Persian. Career In 2012, Muhammad Waseem was chosen to be AIBA professional (APB), however his participation failed to be confirmed, to which he stated; "I don't know what went wrong. The federation was dealing with the matter and then nothing evolved out of it, which is really disappointing. I wanted to take on the best boxers of the world but my dream was shattered..." Moruti Mthalane (born 6 October 1982) is a South African former professional boxer. He is a two-time IBF flyweight champion, having held the title between 2009 and 2021. He also held the IBO flyweight title from 2014 to 2017. Professional career First IBF flyweight title reign On 5 July 2009, Mthalane's promoter Branco Milenkovic revealed that Mthalane was designated by the IBF as the mandatory challenger for Nonito Donaire IBF flyweight title. Before the terms of the fight could be negotiated however, Donaire vacated the title and moved up to super flyweight. Dawn News HD is a Pakistani 24-hour Urdu news channel. Based in Karachi, the station is a subsidiary of Pakistan Herald Publications Limited (PHPL), Pakistan's largest English-language media group. The test transmission of the station occurred on 25 May 2007, and the channel went live on 23 July 2007. Alizai or Alizay (; ) is a Pashtun tribe in southwestern and central Afghanistan. It belongs to the Panjpai confederation of the larger Durrani tribe of Ahmad Shah Durrani.
