Muhammad Tahir (footballer)
Muhammad Tahir (born 4 January 1994) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Liga 1 club PSBS Biak. Club career Persipura Jayapura Tahir started his career when in SSB Tunas Muda Hamadi, then was recruited by Persipura U21. In 2016, Tahir joined to senior team of Persipura in the 2016 Piala Bhayangkara. He and four other players from Persipura U21 were recruited by Osvaldo Lessa, and Tahir became one of the players who gained the most attention. Tahir was included in the squad for the Indonesia Soccer Championship. He made his professional debut against Bali United in the second week ISC A. Loan to RANS Nusantara On 27 January 2023, Tahir signed a contract with Liga 1 club Rans Nusantara, on loan from Persipura Jayapura. Indonesia Soccer Championship A, also known as Torabika Soccer Championship presented by IM3 Ooredoo for sponsorship reasons, was a football competition that replaced the temporarily-suspended Indonesia Super League. The 2024–25 Liga 2 will be the eighth season of the Liga 2 under its current name and the 15th season under its current league structure. 2023–24 Liga 2 (Indonesia)
The 2023–24 Liga 2 (also known as the 2023–24 Pegadaian Liga 2 for sponsorship reasons) is the seventh season of the Liga 2 under its current name and the 14th season under its current league structure. PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) is responsible for the operation the league. Plan to change Liga 2's operator was shelved for this season and will be implemented at the very least for the 2024–2025 season. The 2022–23 Liga 1 season (also known as the 2022–23 BRI Liga 1 season for sponsorship reasons) will be the 13th season of the Liga 1, the top Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. It is planned to be started on 27 July 2022. Bali United are the two-time defending champions. Teams Eighteen teams will compete in the league – the top fifteen teams from the previous season and the three teams promoted from the Liga 2. The 2020 Liga 1, also known as Shopee Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth season of Liga 1 under its current name and the 11th season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The season started on 29 February 2020 and was suspended on 16 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The season was abandoned and declared void on 20 January 2021. Indonesia President's Cup
The Piala Presiden (English: President's Cup) is an annual pre-season association football tournament held in Indonesia and organized by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). It is participated by Liga 1 clubs. The inaugural tournament was held in 2015 to fill the vacuum of the Indonesia Super League when Indonesia was suspended by FIFA for government interference. The most recent tournament was held in 2022. History The Piala Presiden was a substitute tournament for the Indonesia Super League after PSSI was declared FIFA sanctioned in May 2015. The vacuum of the tournament made Mahaka Sports and Entertainment initiate the President's Cup as a contribution to national football.
