Muhammad Munir Afsar
Muhammad Munir Afsar, HI(M) is a three-star general in the Pakistan Army who currently serves as the Chairman of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). Education Afsar completed his MPhil in Public Policy and National Security Management. He also did MS in GIS and remote sensing and MS in National Resource Strategy from NDU Washington. Currently, he is doing PhD in Remote Sensing at NUST Islamabad. Military career Afsar was commissioned into the Pakistan Army in 1990 through the 81st Long Course and joined the 16 Punjab Regiment. Afsar has served at various capacities throughout his military career. As a major general, he served as Director General of the Command, Control, Communication, Computers, and Intelligence Directorate. Lieutenant General is a Three-star rank, three-star army officer rank in the Pakistan Army. It is equivalent to a vice admiral in the Pakistan Navy and an air marshal in the Pakistan Air Force. A lieutenant general is also called a three-star General (Pakistan), general. Like other armies, this rank is higher than a major general and lower than a full general. There are currently 30 Lieutenant Generals in the Pakistan Army, with each usually presiding over a corps. Command And Staff College, Quetta
The Command and Staff College Quetta is a staff college for the Pakistan Armed Forces and military officers from allied countries. Established in 1905 as Staff College, Deolali, it was later shifted to its present location in 1907 and has been an alma mater of many renowned international soldiers. History and Location The need for a staff college arose when British Indian Army officers were required to undertake lengthy travel to Great Britain to pursue graduate studies at the Staff College, Camberley. However, the increasing number of enrollments made it difficult for the college to accommodate all applicants. The Lahore High Court () is a provincial court house based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established as a high court on 21 March 1882. Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) is a military academy located nearby Kakul village in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Established in October 1947, it is the only service academy in Pakistan that trains cadets to serve as army officers.
