Muhammad Kirumira
Muhammad Kirumira (May 20, 1983 – September 8, 2018) was a Ugandan senior police commander, a teacher by profession and a human rights activist, assassinated soon after his public declaration of quitting the Uganda Police Force for its excessive and illegal use of power. In 2017, he rejected charges for allegations that he was involved in promoting bribery, which was later discovered false and thus promised the revenge. By the time of his death, he had announced a contest on an unidentified political position in 2021 general elections. Personal life and responsibilities Kirumira was born on May 20, 1983, by Hajji Abubaker Kawooya and Sarah Namuddu. Mpigi is a town in Mawokota County, Mpigi District, in Central Uganda. Mpigi is the municipal, administrative and commercial headquarters of Mpigi District. The district is named after the town. Kale Kayihura
General Edward Kalekezi Kayihura, commonly known as Kale Kayihura, is a Ugandan lawyer, military general, farmer and former policeman. He was the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Uganda Police Force (the highest rank in that branch of Uganda's government) from 2005 until 5 March 2018. He was succeeded by Martin Okoth Ochola in an unexpected reshuffle. This also saw the Minister for security Henry Tumukunde replaced. Bobi Wine
Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (born 12 February 1982), also popularly known by his stage name Bobi Wine, is a Ugandan activist, politician, singer, lawyer and actor. He is a former Member of Parliament for Kyadondo County East constituency in Wakiso District, in Uganda's Central Region. He also leads the National Unity Platform political party. In June 2019, he announced his candidacy for the 2021 Ugandan presidential election. He participated in the 2021 election, in which, according to official results, he lost to incumbent Yoweri Museveni, although he claims this result was fraudulent.
