Mohammad Abbas (cricketer)
Mohammad Abbas (born 10 March 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer who plays for Pakistan national cricket team and for Southern Punjab domestically. In August 2018, he was one of thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The International Cricket Council (ICC) named Abbas as one of the five breakout stars in men's cricket in 2018. In July 2021, Abbas lost his central contract after failing to maintain his place in the national team. Early life Abbas was born in a small village Jathekey near Sambrial. Before his first-class debut, he earned his livelihood through welding work in a leather factory and working as a helper in a law firm in Sialkot. Mohammad Abbas Abbasi (governor)
Muhammad Abbas Khan Abbasi ( ur, ; born 24 March 1924 – died 14 March 1988) also known as Alhaj Mohammad Abbas Khan Abbasi, was the Nawab and later Amir of the Bahawalpur State. He was also a Brigadier in the Pakistani Army, Governor of Punjab and member of the Bahawalpur royal family. He became Nawab on the death of his father General Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V Abbasi on 24 May 1966. Brigadier Mohammad Abbas Baig (Urdu: برگیڈیر جنرل محمد عباس بیگ; September 1917 – 19 April 2008) was a Pakistan Army one-star officer. He was one of the pioneering military officers of the Pakistan Army who was dubbed "Baba-e-Artillery" (father of the Artillery) for his role in establishing this core section of Pakistani army. Abbas Baig's father, Mirza Azam Baig, was a prominent soldier who had fought in the European theatre for the British Army during the Great War (1914–1918). Mohammed Abbas Sabih ( ar, محمد عباس صبيح; born February 28, 1978) is a former Iraqi swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. He is considered one of Iraq's most promising swimmers, having competed at the Olympics under Saddam Hussein's dictatorship. As part of his preparations, he was trained for the University of British Columbia Dolphins Swim Club in Canada. Abba qualified for the men's 100 m freestyle at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by receiving a Universality place from FINA, in an entry time of 58.24. Abbas failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed sixty-third overall out of 71 swimmers in the preliminaries. Abu'l-Abbas Muhammad I ibn al-Aghlab () (died 856) was the fifth emir of the Aghlabids, Aghlabid dynasty, who ruled over Ifriqiya, Islam in Malta, Malta, and most of Sicily from 841 until his death.
