Al-Mufaddal ibn Muhammad ibn Ya'la ibn 'Amir ibn Salim ibn ar-Rammal ad-Dabbi, commonly known as al-Mufaḍḍal aḍ-Ḍabbī (), died –787, was an Arabic philologist of the Kufan school.First Encyclopaedia of Islam, vol. 6pg. 625 Eds. Al-Mufaddal Ibn Umar Al-Ju'fi
Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Mufaḍḍal ibn ʿUmar al-Juʿfī (), died before 799, was an early Shi'i leader and the purported author of a number of religious and philosophical writings. A contemporary of the Imams Ja'far al-Sadiq (–765) and Musa al-Kazim (745–799), he belonged to those circles in Kufa whom later Twelver Shi'i authors would call ('exaggerators') for their 'exaggerated' veneration of the Imams.; . Athīr al-Dīn al-Mufaḍḍal ibn ʿUmar ibn al-Mufaḍḍal al-Samarqandī al-Abharī (Persian): اثیرالدین مُفَضَّل بن عمر بن مَفَضَّل سمرقندی ابهری; d. 1262 or 1265 also known as Athīr al-Dīn al-Munajjim (اثیرالدین منجم) was an Iranian Muslim polymath, philosopher, astronomer, astrologer and mathematician. Al-Mufaddal Ibn Abi Al-Fada'il
Al-Mufaddal ibn Abi al-Fada'il () was a 14th-century Egyptian historian. He was a Coptic Christian. Al-Mufaddal wrote a book about the history of the Bahriyya Mamluks, entitled ''al-Nahdj al-sadîd wa-l-durr al-farîd fimâ ba'd Ta'rîkh Ibn al'Amîd'', covering the period from 1260 to 1340. He finished his work in 1358. Al-Muffaddal gives precise descriptions of the history of Egypt and Syria, especially the Mongol occupation of Syria. He noted down the Damascus declaration made by the Mongols, as well as the content of the letters exchanged between Ghazan and al-Nâsir. Mufazzal Haider Chaudhury
Mufazzal Haider Chaudhury (22 July 1926 – 14 December 1971) was a prominent Bengali essayist, prized scholar of Bengali literature, educator and linguist of the Bengali language. Early life and education Born in Khalishpur village, in Noakhali in East Bengal to Bazlur Rahman Chaudhury and Mahfuza Khatun, Chaudhury lost his father when he was nine. Facing financial difficulties, his mother arranged for his education at the Ahmediya High English School, from where he passed his matriculation examination securing fourth place under the University of Calcutta. After passing his intermediate from the Dhaka College, he went to study Bengali honors at the Scottish Church College, in Kolkata. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin () is the spiritual leader, the 53rd Da'i al-Mutlaq of more than one million Dawoodi Bohras, a subgroup of the Tayyibi, Musta'li, Ismaili Shia branch of Islam. Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya (born 3 February 1948) is a senior Bangladesh Awami League politician who served as a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Chandpur-2 constituency and a minister of several ministries. On 19 November 2021 he nominated for Bangladesh Awami League Presidium member. He received the Bir Bikram, the third highest award for gallantry, for his role in the Bangladesh Liberation War. Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad (born 20 February 1956) is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) politician who served as a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Comilla-3 constituency from 1986 to 1990 and again from 1996 to 2014. In his political career, Kaikobad was appointed as a whip of the Bangladesh Parliament (state minister equivalent) in 1989. Later, he was appointed as the state minister in‐charge for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Waqf of Bangladesh in 1990. During his parliamentary career, he has also served as a member of different parliamentary standing committees. Kazi Mofazzal Hossain Shaikat (; born 20 June 1986) is a retired Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as a centre back. International career Shaikat was sent off on his international debut against Afghanistan, after picking up a double booking during their 2008 AFC Challenge Cup qualification match. He also represented the team at the 2008 SAFF Championship in Sri Lanka.
