Mthokozisi Nxumalo
Mthokozisi Nkululeko Nxumalo (7 January 19891 August 2021) was a South African politician who was a Member of the National Assembly from May 2019 until his death in August 2021. A member of the Inkatha Freedom Party, he was the National Chairperson of the Inkatha Freedom Party Youth Brigade from July 2019 until his death. Nxumalo formerly served as president of the South African Democratic Students Movement, the IFP's student wing. Early life and education Nxxumalo was born in Vryheid on 7 January 1989. His mother was Junerose Mkwanazi. Nxumalo studied construction management at the Mangosuthu University of Technology. Political career In August 2011, Nxumalo was elected president of the Inkatha Freedom Party's student wing, the South African Democratic Students Movement (Sadesmo). David Mabuza
David Dabede "DD" Mabuza (born 25 August 1960) is a South African politician who has been Deputy President of South Africa since February 2018. He was the Deputy President of the African National Congress (ANC) from December 2017 to December 2022 and was previously the Premier of Mpumalanga from 2009 to 2018, throughout the presidency of his former political ally Jacob Zuma. A native of rural Mpumalanga and a teacher by training, Mabuze's initial engagement in politics was through the Black Consciousness movement, while he was a student, and then through teachers' unions; he was chairperson of the South African Democratic Teachers Union, an affiliate of the influential Congress of South African Trade Unions, from 1988 to 1991. Zulu People
Zulu people (; zu, amaZulu) are a Nguni people, Nguni ethnic group native to Southern Africa. The Zulu people are the largest Ethnic groups in South Africa, ethnic group and nation in South Africa, with an estimated 10–12 million people, living mainly in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. National Student Financial Aid Scheme
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a South African government student financial aid scheme which provides financial aid to undergraduate students to help pay for the cost of their tertiary education after finishing high school. It is funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training. The program also manages bursaries such as the Funza Lushaka Teacher Bursary (for students pursuing a teaching qualification), DHET Disability Bursary and other bursaries from the Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs).
