Mskhlebi (Java Municipality)
Mskhlebi ( ka, მსხლები, literally ''"pears"'') is a highland village and community center in northern Georgia. It is located on the right bank of the river Greater Liakhvi in the Java Municipality, Shida Kartli region. Distance to the municipal center Java is 2 km. Shida Kartli ( ka, შიდა ქართლი, , ; "Inner Kartli") is a landlocked administrative region (''Mkhare'') in eastern Georgia. It comprises a central part of the historical-geographic province of Shida Kartli. With an area of , Shida Kartli is the 8th largest Georgian region by land area. With 284,081 inhabitants, it is Georgia's seventh-most-populous region. Shida Kartli's capital and largest city, Gori, is the 5th largest city in Georgia. A municipality ( ka, მუნიციპალიტეტი, tr) is a subdivision of Georgia, consisting of a settlement or a group of settlements (community, თემი, ''temi''), which enjoy local self-government. A total of 69 municipalities are registered as of January 2019. Five municipalities are entirely located in breakaway Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and are effectively not governed by Tbilisi. A ''mkhare'' ( ka, მხარე, ''mxare'') is a type of administrative division in the country of Georgia. It is usually translated as "region". According to presidential decrees in 1994 and 1996, Georgia's division into regions is on a provisional basis until the secessionist conflicts in Abkhazia and South Ossetia are resolved. Java (town)
Java ( ka, ჯავა ; os, Дзау, ''Dzaw''; russian: Джава ''Dzhava'') is a town of approximately 1,500 people in Georgia (in South Ossetia). According to Georgia's current official administrative division, Java is a main town of Java district in the north of Shida Kartli region. According to the South Ossetian side Dzau is an administrative center of Dzau district. The town is situated on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus, within the Greater Liakhvi Gorge, above sea level. Java is the second largest urban settlement in South Ossetia, after Tskhinvali. It is located outside the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe-defined boundaries of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone – an area within a 15-km radius of Tskhinvali.
