Mridul George (born 2 September 1987) is an Indian scriptwriter & author who works in Malayalam cinema.He made his debut with Luca (2019), co-written with director Arun Bose. His second movie, Mindiyum Paranjum is also a co-writing venture with Arun Bose and has Unni Mukundan & Aparna Balamurali in lead roles. His first book titled 'Paathi Murinja Ticketukal' was published in 2018 and is considered to be the first fan fiction book in Malayalam .In 2025, he published his second book 'Fans Talkies' through Mankind Literature, again in fan fiction genre. Luca (2019 Film)
''Luca'' is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by Arun Bose and produced by Linto Thomas and Prince Hussain under the studio Stories & Thoughts Productions. The film is co-written by Mridul George and stars Tovino Thomas and Ahaana Krishna in lead roles. Sooraj S. Kurup is the music director. Plot The film starts off with an unexpected event that sets in motion an investigation by police officer Akbar. A diary that Akbar reads takes the audience through the lives of Luca and Niharika, with the diary playing the role of a storyteller. Luca is a talented scrap artist with a very small circle of friends. Luca does not know how to control his anger and he expresses them in violent streaks when something irritates him. Arun Bose
Arun Bose (born 21 December 1982) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, film editor and producer predominantly working in the Malayalam film industry. He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam feature film ''Luca'' (2019) starring Tovino Thomas and Ahaana Krishna. He has also produced, scripted, photographed and directed an experimental Tamil feature film titled ''Alaiyin Thisai''. His second Malayalam feature film ''Mindiyum Paranjum'' produced by Salim Ahamed has Unni Mukundan and Aparna Balamurali in the lead.
