Mr. Magoo (TV Series)
''Mr. Magoo'' is a French animated series produced by Xilam with the participation of France Télévisions and Classic Media. It premiered in Portugal on December 17, 2018. On Boomerang Africa HD on July 3, 2019. The series was renewed for a second season in 2021. It premiered in the United Kingdom on CITV and the streaming service ITVX on December 10, 2022. The series was Olivier Jean-Marie's final production before his death on May 13, 2021. Plot ''Mr. Magoo'' follows the eponymous kind-hearted fellow who is always happy to lend a hand—but often causes disasters instead, as without his glasses he makes all kinds of chaotic mix-ups. Millard Kaufman
Millard Kaufman (March 12, 1917 – March 14, 2009) was an American screenwriter and novelist. His works include the Academy Award-nominated '' Bad Day at Black Rock'' (1955). He was also one of the creators of Mr. Magoo. Early life Kaufman was born and raised in Baltimore and graduated from the Baltimore City College (high school). He eventually graduated from Johns Hopkins University after work as a merchant seaman. After that, he moved to New York City, taking a job as copyboy for the ''New York Daily News''. At some point, he married Lorraine Paley. He enlisted in the Marines in 1942, served on Guadalcanal, landed at Guam with the 1st Marine Brigade (Provisional) where he wrote an article for the '' Marine Corps Gazette'' about the battle, then participated in the Okinawa with the 6th Marine Division. Boomerang is a French television channel which broadcast animated programs aimed at children. It is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International under its EMEA and French divisions of the original namesake American channel. Discovery Kids (stylized as DK) is a Latin American subscription television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery and headquartered in Miami, Florida, which started as a programming block on the Latin American version of Discovery Channel. It launched on 1 November 1996, with programming aimed for older children and preschoolers. It was owned by Discovery Networks Latin America and is one of two Discovery Kids-branded channels that remains airing (the other being Discovery Kids India). Nicktoons is a British pay television channel launched on 22 July 2002 as Nicktoons TV. It is a cartoon-centric sister channel to Nickelodeon. La Trois (''lit: The Three'') is a Belgian national television channel operated by the French-language public-service broadcasting organisation RTBF. It was launched on 30 November 2007 and is distributed via digital terrestrial television, satellite, cable, and IPTV. La Trois timeshares with Auvio Kids TV, a children block, between 6/9 am to 8pm.
