Mr. Dream
Mr. Dream was an American punk rock music group. They released their debut album, '' Trash Hit'', on March 1, 2011. They released '' The Ultimate in Luxury'' as a "posthumous LP" on July 7, 2014, shortly after their breakup. History Based in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Dream was composed of Adam Moerder (vocals, guitarist), Matt Morello (vocals, bass guitarist) and Nick Sylvester (drums, producer). Moerder has written several pieces for various publications, including ''The New Yorker'' and ''Pitchfork''. Sylvester was a writer at the Village Voice and Pitchfork. Moerder and Sylvester originally met while writing for the Harvard Lampoon. Several years after graduating from college, Moerder, Sylvester and Morello had relocated to Brooklyn and started practicing and writing together as Mr. Dream. Pixies (band)
The Pixies are an American alternative rock band from Boston, Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1986 by Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass, vocals) and David Lovering (drums). The Pixies are associated with the 1990s alternative rock boom, and draw on elements including punk rock and surf music, surf rock. The Jesus Lizard
The Jesus Lizard is an American Rock music, rock band formed in 1987 in Austin, Texas by vocalist David Yow, guitarist Duane Denison and bassist David Wm. Sims. They relocated to Chicago, Illinois, in 1989, where they found kindred spirits in recording engineer Steve Albini and Touch and Go Records. With the addition of drummer Mac McNeilly, they began performing live and became "a leading noise rock band in the American independent underground music, underground…[who] turned out a series of independent records filled with scathing, disembowelling, guitar-driven pseudo-industrial rock, industrial noise." Franz Ferdinand are a Scottish Rock music, rock band formed in Glasgow in 2002. CSS (an initialism of Cansei de Ser Sexy) (, English lit. "[Got] tired of being sexy") is a Brazilian rock music, rock band from São Paulo. The band was labelled as part of the explosion of the New Rave music, new rave scene of the late 2000s.
