Mr. Accident
''Mr. Accident'' is a 2000 Australian comedy film written, directed, produced by, and starring Yahoo Serious. It was filmed in September and October 1998 in Sydney. Plot Roger Crumpkin is a young, accident-prone maintenance man at an egg factory that bears an uncanny resemblance to the Sydney Opera House. He stumbles on his boss's plan to increase sales by lacing the eggs with nicotine. Crumpkin must risk his job and girlfriend to stop him. In the meantime Crumpkin and his UFO-obsessed girlfriend, Sunday Valentine discover in ancient sedimentary rock a metal object that bears an uncanny resemblance to the hubcap from a Volkswagen Beetle. Yahoo Serious (born Greg Pead, 27 July 1953) is an Australian actor. His films include the comedy films ''Young Einstein'' (1988), '' Reckless Kelly'' (1993), and ''Mr. Accident'' (2000). Serious writes, directs, produces, stars in, and has composed the scores for his movies. Early life Serious, born Greg Pead, was born on 27 July 1953 in Cardiff, New South Wales. He attended Glendale East Public School and Cardiff High School, then worked as a tyre fitter to pay for his tuition at the National Art School in Sydney, but was expelled. Career After being expelled from art school, Serious co-wrote, co-produced, edited and directed at age 21 his first film, ''Coaltown'', "with the assistance of the Australian Film Institute". Spiderbait is an Australian alternative rock band from Finley, New South Wales, formed in 1989 by bass guitarist and singer Janet English, drummer and singer Kram, and guitarist Damian Whitty. 28 Days are an Australian punk rock band, which formed in 1997, by mainstay members Jay Dunne as lead vocalist, guitarist Simon Hepburn, and bassist Damian Gardiner. Their second studio album '' Upstyledown'' (July 2000), peaked at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart. Their singles, "Rip It Up" (May 2000), "Say What?" (November 2001) and "What's the Deal?" Henry Mancini ( ; born Enrico Nicola Mancini; April 16, 1924 – June 14, 1994) was an American composer, conductor, arranger, pianist and flutist. Often cited as one of the greatest composers in the history of film, he won four Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, and twenty Grammy Awards, plus a posthumous Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995.
