Polond Desert (, also Romanized as Plond Desert), also known as the Mozaffari Desert ( ), is a desert located 40 kilometers West of Ferdows, South Khorasan Province, Iran. Polond Desert is located inside the Mozaffari Protected Area. Places to visit Sandy hills and dunes adjacent to mountains form amazing landscapes. Iranian Vessel Mozaffari
''Mozaffari'' () was a steam yacht that was converted to a gunboat. Launched in 1899 as a Belgian merchant ship, it was purchased as a royal yacht for Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar and served Persian navy from 1902 to 1914; and again between 1918 and 1936. Royal Navy seized her in 1914 and used the vessel until 1918 during World War I. History The vessel was built in Nantes, France in 1899, according to ''Jane's''. Originally named ''Selika'', she was owned by Robert Osterrieth. Soon after it was launched, Adrien de Gerlache took over as her captain for an expedition to the Persian Gulf, seeking pearl. On her journey ''Selika'' decked at Muscat and Bahrain. In April 1904, ''Mozaffari'' was used in an operation to hoist Persian flag at Abu Musa and Tunbs after removing those of Sharjah. Early life Sayed Abutalib Mozaffari was born in 1966 in Khas Urozgan District of Urozgan Province of Afghanistan. Shah Shoja Mozaffari
Shah Shoja (), was the ruler of the Mozaffarids from 1358 to 1384. He was the son and successor of Mubariz al-Din Muhammad. During the lengthy reign of Shah Shoja, his kingdom reached its zenith of power, stretching from Balochistan to Arran. Early life Shah Shoja was born on 10 March 1333—he was the son of the Muzaffarid ruler Mubariz al-Din Muhammad and a woman named Khatun Qotlogh Beg, better known as Makhdum Shah, daughter of the Mongol ruler Qutb al-Din Shah Jahan. After Mubariz al-Din Muhammad's conquest of Kerman in 1341, he organized a marriage between Shah Shoja and the daughter of one of the tribal Mongol chieftains who roamed the region. Shah Shoja later prevented his father from having the tomb of the prominent Persian poet Saadi Shirazi demolished, whom Mubariz al-Din Muhammad had condemned for his poems on religious factors. Saeid Mozaffarizadeh (, born October 15, 1974) is an Iranian football referee who reffed in Iran Pro League and has been on the international list from 2007 to 2014. He is the current manager of Tractor S.C. in Persian Gulf Pro League. The 2006/07 season was Mozaffarizadeh's first year refereeing in Iran's top division and it was one of the greatest years a rookie referee could have. Mozafarizadeh called 18 matches in which he gave away 71 cards and called 4 penalties. Rasoul Mozaffari Vanani (; born 22 July 1994), known as Rasoul Mozaffari (), is an Iranian professional basketball player for Petrochimi Bandar Imam in the Iranian Super League as well as for the Iranian national basketball team. Nurieh Mozaffari (; born May 20, 1960) is an Iranian–born contemporary painter. Early life and education Nurieh Mozaffari was born in 1960 in Tehran, Iran. She grew up in the city of Rudsar in Gilan province in northern Iran. Mozaffari studied at Alzahra University in Tehran and under the supervision of painter Aydin Aghdashloo. Upon receiving her B.A. degree in 1989, she pursued her M.A. degree at Islamic Azad University, and graduated in 1996. In 1998, Mozaffari emigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and obtained a diploma in jewelry design. In 2006, her work was being shown in Vancouver art galleries. Career Mozaffari has worked as a lecturer at Islamic Azad University.
