- Moyne civil parish It is one of 21 civil parishes in the barony. It is the easternmost parish of barony located between the parish of Rahelty (civil parish), Rahelty to the west and the Counties of Ireland, county of County Kilkenny, Kilkenny to the east. It contains twelve townlands. According to Samuel Lewis (publisher), Lewis' "Topographical Dictionary", in 1837 it contained 224 inhabitants and comprised 7172 statute acres that were valued at £6677 per annum. The Tipperary GAA club of Moyne–Templetuohy GAA is partly based in the parish.

Moyne Abbey () is a ruined medieval Franciscan friary in Killala, County Mayo, Ireland. Founded at some point before 1455, the abbey was burned in 1590 (see Dissolution of the monasteries). Moyne () is a townland in the parish of Shrule in County Mayo, Ireland. It is bordered by Cloghmoyne and Gortbrack townlands to the west, by Toorard, Barnaboy, and Ross, County Mayo to the east.
