Moy Shmull is a Palauan spearfisher. Career He won gold in the individual spearfishing event at the 2010 Micronesian Games. At the subsequent 2014 Micronesian Games, Shmull lost second place to Guamanian Ray Flores as one of the fish that he caught was mutilated by a shark. He also won a silver medal as part of the team event at the same games. Spearfishing competitions have been held at the quadrennial Micronesian Games since the 1994 Micronesian Games, with modern spearfishing replacing traditional spearfishing at the 2006 Micronesian Games. The Games were officially opened by the President of the Republic of Palau, Johnson Toribiong. He participated at the first Micronesian Games 1969 in baseball, but for the Mariana Islands (now Northern Mariana Islands) team.
