Eric Sheridan Prydz (, ; born 19 July 1976), also known by his many aliases including Pryda () and Cirez D (), is a Swedish DJ and record producer. He rose to prominence with his 2004 hit single " Call on Me", and saw continued chart success with "Proper Education" in 2007, "Pjanoo" in 2008, and "Opus" in 2015. In 2016, he released his debut studio album, ''Opus''. In 2017, he won DJ of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards and was also nominated for Live Act of the Year. Career 2004–2008: "Call on Me" and Swedish House Mafia Prydz is perhaps best known for his 2004 hit single " Call on Me". It topped the UK singles chart for five weeks and was number one on the German Top 100 for six consecutive weeks. Although this track made him immensely popular, Prydz has stopped playing it in his shows in an attempt to distance himself from it. ''Opus'' is the only studio album by Swedish DJ Eric Prydz. It was released on 5 February 2016 in Sweden through Virgin Records. The album includes the singles " Every Day", " Liberate", "Generate", " Opus", "Breathe" and " Last Dragon". Singles " Every Day" was released as the lead single from the album on 15 October 2012; the song has charted in Belgium and the Netherlands. " Liberate" was released as the second single from the album on 3 June 2014, the song has charted in Belgium. "Generate" was released as the third single from the album on 18 June 2015. Electronic Music Awards
The Electronic Music Awards is a music award show focused on electronic music genres that debuted on September 21, 2017, in Los Angeles. It was created by Paul Oakenfold and entertainment company Hunt & Crest and produced by L!ve Media. The show was live streamed via Twitter and Pluto TV and garnered 3.4 million views within 2.5 hours. The 2017 event was hosted by Hannah Rad, Matt Medved, Robin Schulz, and Vicky Vox. Performers included Moby, Juan Atkins, Autograf, Floorplan, Illenium, Kidnap Kid, Orbital, Ramzoid, Delano Smith, Goldfish, Madeaux, and the Saunderson Brothers. "Another Brick in the Wall" is a three-part composition on Pink Floyd's 1979 album '' The Wall'', written by the bassist, Roger Waters. "Part 2", a protest song against corporal punishment and rigid and abusive schooling, features a children's choir. At the suggestion of the producer, Bob Ezrin, Pink Floyd incorporated elements of disco. "Part 2" was Pink Floyd's first UK single since " Point Me at the Sky" (1968). Sebastian Carmine Ingrosso (born 20 April 1983) is a Swedish DJ and record producer. He is a member of Swedish House Mafia, together with Axwell and Steve Angello.
