Mount Hunter () is a mountain in northern Stribog Mountains, high, standing west-southwest of Duclaux Point on Pasteur Peninsula, Brabant Island, in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It surmounts Podayva Glacier to the north, Burevestnik Glacier to the northeast, Lister Glacier to the southeast and Dodelen Glacier to the west. The mountain was shown on an Argentine government chart in 1953, but not named. It was photographed by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd in 1956–57, and mapped from these photos in 1959. Mount Hunter or Begguya is a mountain in Denali National Park and Preserve, Denali National Park in Alaska. It is approximately south of Denali, the highest peak in North America. "Begguya" means child (of Denali) in the Dena'ina language. Mount Hunter is the third-highest major peak in the Alaska Range. Mount Hunter has a complex structure: it is topped by a large, low-angled glacier plateau, connecting the North (Main) Summit and the South Summit (). Hunter Peak is a mountain summit in Pitkin County, Colorado, United States. Description Hunter Peak is located west of the Continental Divide in the Elk Mountains which are a subrange of the Rocky Mountains. It ranks as the 253rd-highest peak in Colorado. The mountain is situated south-southwest of the community of Aspen and east-southeast of Maroon Bells. The peak is set in the Maroon Bells–Snowmass Wilderness on land managed by White River National Forest. Precipitation runoff from the mountain's slopes drains into tributaries of the Roaring Fork River which is a tributary of the Colorado River. Hunter Peak is an summit in Culberson County, Texas, United States. Description Hunter Peak is located in Guadalupe Mountains National Park and it is immediately northwest of the park headquarters and visitor center. It ranks as the fifth-highest peak in the Guadalupe Mountains and sixth-highest in the state of Texas. The mountain is composed of late Permian limestone and Capitan Formation like the other peaks in the Guadalupe Mountains. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises 2,500 feet (762 m) above Pine Spring Canyon in . Precipitation runoff from the mountain's slopes drains east into the Delaware River which is part of the Pecos River watershed. The slopes of the peak support ponderosa pine, southwestern white pine, douglas-fir, and juniper. The ascent to the summit involves hiking 8.7 miles (14 km) with 2,700 feet of elevation gain via a round-trip loop up the Bear Canyon Trail and down the Tejas Trail.
