Mount Gillet
Gillet is a Belgian automobile manufacturer, started in 1992 by former racing driver Tony Gillet. The company produces the Vertigo sports coupé, an ultra-lightweight (990 kg) 'bespoke' and hand-built sportscar. The slogan of the company is "Supercar and work of art Pure Pleasure!". 2006 Spa 24 Hours
The 2006 Proximus Spa 24 Hours was the fourth race for the 2006 FIA GT Championship season. It took place on 29 and 30 July 2006. It set a record for the farthest distance run since the event changed to the shorter 7 km track in 1979. This race saw Porsche debut their new 997-generation GT3-RSR in the hands of Manthey Racing. The 2005 Proximus 24 Hours of Spa was the 58th running of the Spa 24 Hours and the sixth race for the 2005 FIA GT Championship season. It featured the combination of the FIA GT's two classes (GT1 and GT2) with cars from national and one-make series, designated G2 and G3. It took place on 30 and 31 July 2005 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium. The 2003 Proximus 24 Spa was the 56th running of the Spa 24 Hours and the sixth round the 2003 FIA GT Championship. This event combined the FIA GT's two classes (GT and N-GT) with cars from national series and one-make series, designated G2 and G3. Group N
In relation to international motorsport governed by the FIA, Group N refers to regulations providing 'standard' large scale series production vehicles for competition. They are limited in terms of modifications permitted to the standard specification by the manufacturer making them a cost effective method of production vehicle motorsport. Often referred to as the "showroom class", Group N contrasts with Group A which has greater freedom to modify and tune the cars to be more suitable to racing. Both Groups may have the same or similar models homologated by a manufacturer. Group N was introduced by the FIA in 1982 to replace the outgoing Group 1 as "''standard touring cars''". FIA GT Championship
The FIA GT Championship was a sports car racing series organized by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) at the behest of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship was mostly concentrated in Europe, but throughout the years has visited other continents including Asia and South America. At the end of 2009, the championship was replaced by the FIA GT1 World Championship, which morphed into the FIA GT Series for 2013. Regulations FIA currently defines several categories of GT cars with the top two specifications being GT1, or Grand Touring Cars, and GT2, or Series Grand Touring Cars. Belcar
The Belgian Racing Car Championship (formerly Belcar Endurance Championship or Belgian GT Championship) is a national sports car racing championship primarily in Belgium. The series is sanctioned by the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium and run by Kronos Event. Since the 2007 season, the series has run three classes. The top class is for cars conforming to international GT3 regulations, similar to those in the FIA GT3 European Championship.
