Mount Bold Football Club
The Mount Bold Football Club was a shortly-lived Australian rules football club that was established in 1962 as a merger between the Kangarilla Football Club and the Clarendon Football Club, initially playing in the Hills Central Football Association. In 1964, Mount Bold transferred to the Southern Football League. Kangarilla Football Club
The Kangarilla Football Club is an Australian rules football club first formed in 1901. In 1913, Kangarilla joined the Alexandra Football Association, where it participated for the three seasons that competition existed. History Kangarilla joined the Southern Football Association in 1916 where it remained until 1922 when it shifted to the Hills Central Football Association for the 1923 season. Kangarilla would remain in Hills Central until 1961, being relegated to the B-Grade competition for the last 10 years, before it merged with the Clarendon Football Club to form the Mount Bold Football Club for the 1962 season. Kangarilla reformed in 1966 and joined the Hills Central B-Grade competition before a restructure of football in the Hills saw them join the newly formed Hills Football League Southern Zone. Clarendon Football Club
The Clarendon Football Club was an Australian rules football based in the township of Clarendon, South Australia. The first record of Clarendon was in the Alexandra Football Association from 1913 to 1915, the three seasons that competition was in existence, winning the first and last premierships. After the First World War, Clarendon reformed and joined the Mid-Southern Football Association. Clarendon joined the Southern Football Association in 1935, lasting only two seasons before shifting to the Hills Central Football Association. Clarendon were associated with the Hills Central Association over the next 26 years, dropping to the B-Grade competition at times. Their peak in that competition came with a grand final loss to Echunga in 1955, whilst their reserves won the B-Grade premiership that season. Cowell is a coastal town on Franklin Harbor on the eastern side of the Eyre Peninsula, in South Australia on the Lincoln Highway 111 km south of the major town of Whyalla.
