Mouhamet Diouf
Mouhamet "Momo" Diouf (born 10 September 2001) is a Senegalese-Italian professional basketball player for Virtus Bologna of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. Career Born in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, and raised in Sant'Ilario d'Enza in the province of Reggio Emilia, Diouf took his first steps in basketball with the local team before joining the youth ranks of Pallacanestro Reggiana in 2016. After making his professional debut during the 2018–19 season, he signed his first pro contract in August 2019, officially joining the first team. In the 2022–23 season, Diouf averaged 14 minutes, 6 points, and 3.2 rebounds per game in the Italian league with Reggio Emilia. On 6 July 2023, the Senegalese center made the move to Spain, signing with CB Breogán of the Liga ACB for the 2023–24 season. S.S.P. Reyer Venezia Mestre, commonly known as Reyer Venezia or simply Reyer, is an Italian professional basketball club that is based in Venice, Veneto. Gianmarco Pozzecco (born 15 September 1972) is an Italian professional basketball coach and former player who is currently the head coach of Italy men's national basketball team. Pozzecco is one of the best known figures in the Italian basketball world. As a player, he had a prominent role in Italy's win of the silver medal at the men's basketball tournament at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He won the Serie A1 1998-1999 and the 1999 Italian Supercup with Varese, and in 2004 he reached the EuroLeague Final Four with Bologna, eventually lost to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
