Motori Moderni
Motori Moderni (Modern Engines) was a Formula One engine manufacturer from 1985 through 1987. It was established in Novara by Italian engine designer Carlo Chiti. Chiti, a former Ferrari, Automobili Turismo e Sport and Alfa Romeo Formula One chief designer, founded Motori Moderni with the idea of supplying custom turbocharged V6 engines, also known as ''Tipo 615-90'', to Formula One teams. The engines were used by Minardi in Formula One from to and by AGS in . Carlo Chiti
Carlo Chiti (19 December 1924 – 7 July 1994) was an Italian racing car and engine designer best known for his long association with Alfa Romeo's racing department. He also worked for Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari and was involved in the design of the Ferrari 156 F1, Ferrari 156 Sharknose car, with which Phil Hill won the 1961 Formula One season, 1961 championship. Early life Born in Pistoia, Tuscany, Chiti graduated with a degree in Aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering from the University of Pisa in Italy in 1953. Alfa Romeo Chiti joined Alfa Romeo in 1952 when still a student. The McLaren MP4/2 was a Formula One car produced by McLaren (racing), McLaren for the 1984 Formula One season, 1984 season. The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring (A Eins-Ring), and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from to . When Formula One outgrew the circuit, a plan was drawn up to extend the layout. Williams FW10
The Williams FW10 is a Formula One car designed by Frank Dernie for use by the Williams team in the 1985 Formula One World Championship. It was initially powered by Honda's and V6 engine, the RA163E, before the 1985 spec engine, the RA165E was introduced at Detroit. Keke Rosberg
Keijo Erik "Keke" Rosberg (; born 6 December 1948) is a Finnish former racing driver and motorsport executive, who competed in Formula One from to . Rosberg won the Formula One World Drivers' Championship in with Williams, and won five Grands Prix across nine seasons. Born in Sweden and raised in Finland, Rosberg started his racing career in karting before graduating to Formula Vee in 1972. Upon winning Finnish Championship the following year, Rosberg progressed to Formula Super Vee, where he won the German Championship in 1975. The 1985 British Grand Prix (formally the XXXVIII Marlboro British Grand Prix) was a Formula One motor race held at Silverstone on 21 July 1985.
