Motorhome was formed in the early 1990s by Josiah Mazzaschi after he moved from Boston to Chicago to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) is a Private university, private art school associated with the Art Institute of Chicago (AIC) in Chicago, Illinois. They were initially courted and groomed for a major label deal that never panned out. Motorhome released two albums, "Sex Vehicle" on the Dirt label, and "Man of the Future" by themselves. School Of The Art Institute Of Chicago
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) is a Private university, private art school associated with the Art Institute of Chicago (AIC) in Chicago, Illinois. Tracing its history to an art students' cooperative founded in 1866, which grew into the museum and school, SAIC has been Higher education accreditation in the United States, accredited since 1936 by the Higher Learning Commission and by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design since 1944 (charter member). It has been a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD) since the association's founding in 1991 and is also accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. Its downtown Chicago campus consists of seven buildings located in the immediate vicinity of the Art Institute of Chicago Building, AIC building. Light FM (band)
Light FM are an American indie rock band based in Los Angeles, CA. The band has released four full-length albums and one EP. Their most recent album, ''Buzz Kill City'', was released on October 4, 2011. History Former Motorhome guitarist/vocalist Josiah Mazzaschi formed Light FM in 1999 in Chicago, IL with Chris Frantisak, Mark Ruggiero, and Brian Barbier. The band self-released their first album, ''This is The Beginning of My Golden Age'', in 2004 on their own Electronic Battleship Records label with digital distribution by Chicago's Minty Fresh Records. The record was received to rave reviews by the ''Chicago Reader'', ''Chicago Sun-Times'', and the ''Chicago Tribune''. Songs from the album were featured in the CW's ''Gossip Girl'', ''One Tree Hill'', ''Dawson's Creek'', and MTV's ''The Hills''.
