Motorcycle Accessories
Motorcycle accessories are features and accessories selected by a motorcycle owner to enhance safety, performance, or comfort, and may include anything from mobile electronics to sidecars and motorcycle trailer, trailers. An accessory may be added at the factory by the original equipment manufacturer or purchased and installed by the owner post-sale as Aftermarket (automotive), aftermarket goods. The term Farkle (a portmanteau of the words functional and sparkle) is used within the motorcycle community, originally to denote useful add-ons, such as GPS or other upgraded components. Now also used at times in a humorous or mildly derogatory way to describe bling, such as anodized or chromed parts that add no functionality. BMW R1150RT
The BMW R1150RT is a touring motorcycle, touring or sport touring motorcycle that was manufactured from 2001 to 2005 by BMW Motorrad to replace the BMW R1100RT, R1100RT model. It featured a flat-twin engine with a six-speed gearbox and shaft drive. It was an evolution of the R1100RT, featuring an air and oil cooling, oil-cooled (or "History of BMW motorcycles#Airheads, oilhead") engine. The R1150RT was based on the same basic platform with increased engine capacity and horsepower, fully linked power-assisted ABS brakes, revised front lighting system, and a six-speed gearbox. Saddlebags are bags that are attached to saddles. Horse riding In horse riding, saddlebags sit in various positions, on the back, side, or front of the saddle. A tow hitch (or tow bar or trailer hitch in North America) is a device attached to the chassis of a vehicle for towing, or a towbar to an aircraft nose gear. It can take the form of a tow ball to allow swiveling and articulation of a Trailer (vehicle), trailer, or a tow pin, or a tow hook with a trailer loop, often used for large or agricultural vehicles where slack in the pivot pin allows similar movements.
