Mosh Kashi
Mosh Kashi (born in 1966 in Jerusalem) is an Israeli painter and artist. Senior Lecturer at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. In his works, Kashi raises issues that deals with painting in the contemporary era. Kashi's art has been exhibited in Israel and worldwide. He won the Young Artist Award (1994), Artistic Achievement Award (1997) and Ministry of Education (Israel) Culture and Sport Prize (2004). Early life and education Kashi was born in 1966 in Jerusalem to an eight-person family. His father Efraim Kashi was a construction worker employed by Solel Boneh, and participated for years in building the Israel Museum. At age 13 Kashi was sent to boarding school in the Ben Shemen Youth Village. These years later produced the series of painting "Cronos", and there he painted wide fields, dark and black from one side to the other. Tel Aviv Art Museum
Tel Aviv Museum of Art ( he, מוזיאון תל אביב לאמנות ''Muzeon Tel Aviv Leomanut'') is an art museum in Tel Aviv, Israel. The museum is dedicated to the preservation and display of modern and contemporary art from Israel and around the world. History The Tel Aviv Museum of Art was established in 1932 in a building that was the home of Tel Aviv's first mayor, Meir Dizengoff. The Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art opened in 1959. Planning for a new building began in 1963 when the museum's collections of modern and contemporary art began to outgrow the premises. Construction commenced in 1966 but stopped for two years due to shortage of funds. The new museum moved to its current location on King Saul Avenue in 1971. The Giorgio Cini Foundation (''Italian: Fondazione Giorgio Cini''), or just Cini Foundation, is a cultural foundation founded 20 April 1951 in memory of Giorgio Cini, an Italian entrepreneur who died in August 1949. History The Foundation is located in the former San Giorgio Monastery on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice. The foundation was established by Vittorio Cini in memory of his son, Giorgio Cini, who died in an airplane accident near Cannes in 1949. Vittorio Cini had a long relationship with the Italian Fascist party, joining in 1926, and had occupied influential positions within government and industry throughout the decades of Benito Mussolini's rule. Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model.
