Morteza Neidavoud
Morteza Neidavoud ( fa, مرتضی نیداوود) (1900–1990) was a prominent master of Persian classical music and a soloist of ''tar''. His 1927 Morq-e sahar (''Dawn bird'') is one of the most famous Persian songs which has been performed by various singers. Early life and education Morteza Neidavoud was born in Espahan to a Persian Jewish music-loving family, he was 3 when the family moved to Tehran. His musical gift was revealed at childhood. His father Bala Khan, who was a musician himself and played the tonbak, wanted to see his son enroll into a different field, and was thus initially against him becoming a musician. However, realizing his natural talent and determination, he eventually took him to see Ramazan Zolfaghari, a musician who was a student of Aqa Hosseinqoli. Neidavoud was trained by Zolfaghari for a short while and then he went to Aqa Hosseinqoli to learn from the master musician himself. Espahan

Ali-Akbar Shahnazi
Ali-Akbar Shahnazi () (12 May 1897 – 17 March 1985) was an Iranian musician and master of the tar. Biography Ostad Ali Akbar Shahnazi was born in Tehran, Iran in 1897. His father, Mirza Hossein Gholi, another master of tar, named him Ali Akbar according to a very old tradition: the grandson should be named as his grandfather. His younger brother Abdolhossein shahnazi was also a master of tar. He recorded many pieces with noted vocalists of his time such as Eghbal Azar and Nakisa. Gholam-Hossein Banan
Gholām-Hossein Banān ( fa, غلامحسين بنان; 5 May 1911 – 27 February 1986) was an Iranian musician and singer. One of the most prominent Iranian singers of the 20th century, he was renowned for the quality of his voice. Biography Born in Tehran, Banān descended from a prominent family "with a background in government service". His father, Karim Khan Banān ol-Dowleh (son of Mohammad-Taqi Mirza Fazlollah Khan Mostowfi Nuri) was an admirer of traditional music. His mother was related to the ruling Qajar dynasty of Iran; she was the daughter of Mohammad Taqi Mirza Rokn ed-Dowleh, a brother of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar (1848–1896).
