Morteza Keyvan
Morteza Keyvan (; 1921, Isfahan – 19 October 1954, Tehran) was an Iranian poet, art critic, newspaper editor and political activist of the Tudeh Party of Iran. Keyvan married Puri Soltani in 1953. After the coup d'état of 1953, Keyvan was arrested by the Pahlavi regime for hiding three fellow Tudeh Party members of the Tudeh Military Network in his house and later sentenced to death on accounts of "treason". He was executed by firing squad the same year on 19 October in the Qasr prison. Keyvan was a friend and associate of many left-wing poets and writers of his time such as Ahmad Shamlou, Nima Youshij Nima Yooshij or Nimā Yushij (; 11 November 1895 – 6 January 1960), also called Nimā (), born Ali Esfandiari (), was a prominent Iranian poet. Hushang Ebtehaj
Amir Hushang Ebtehaj (; 25 February 1928 – 10 August 2022), also known by his pen name H. E. Sayeh (, lit. ''Shadow''), was an Iranian poet of the 20th century, whose life and work spans many of Iran's political, cultural and literary upheavals. Life Ebtehaj was born 25 February 1928 in Rasht in a prominent Baháʼí family in Iran and had his primary schooling there before moving to Tehran. His first book of poetry, with an introduction by eminent poet Mehdi Hamidi Shirazi, was published when he was 19 years old. During Iran's open period following World War II, Sayeh got involved in various literary circles and contributed to various literary magazines such as Sokhan, Kavian, Sadaf, Maslehat, and others. Tudeh Party Of Iran Members
The Tudeh Party of Iran is an Iranian communist party. Formed in 1941, with Soleiman Mirza Eskandari as its head, it had considerable influence in its early years and played an important role during Mohammad Mosaddegh's campaign to nationalize the Anglo-Persian Oil Company and his term as prime minister. From the Iran crisis of 1946 onwards, Tudeh became a pro-Soviet organization and remained prepared to carry out the dictates of the Kremlin, even if it meant sacrificing Iranian political independence and sovereignty. The crackdown that followed the 1953 coup against Mosaddegh is said to have "destroyed" the party,Abrahamian, Ervand, ''A History of Modern Iran'', p.122 although a remnant persisted. Ehsan Tabari
Ehsan Tabari (; 8 February 1917 – 29 April 1989) was an Iranian philosopher, poet, and a literary giant who played a major role in modernization in literature and cultural enlightenment in the twentieth century in Iran. He also fostered a deep understanding of Marxist philosophy in Iran. A founding member and theoretician of the Tudeh Party of Iran, he was an active participant in the advancement of the political process whose aim was social progress and elimination of economic disparity in twentieth-century Iran. Biography Tabari was born in 1917 in Sari, Mazandaran, Iran. Tabari was fluent in eight languages, and he wrote and translated poetry and did research in linguistics. He returned to Iran in 1979 after the overthrow of the Shah, but was arrested in 1983 along with other leaders of the Tudeh Party of Iran.
